Many individuals have inquired about the HAM radio exam but were confused or afraid it might be too difficult to study.
Ralph started the first class in Cerritos during February 2015 and have taught several cohorts of HAMs at the first level Technician License and at the second level General License class throughout the year following GORDOs proven methods.  This enables a pass rate of over 90% for the FCC examination.  No Morse code is needed. 

2015 was the year of increased HAM radio licensures due to an increased interest in emergency communications whether for homeland defense, natural disaster preparedness, or interest in supporting the Red Cross, Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), or even a local sport activity such as a marathon or 5K run.  The hobby is so diverse that some of our HAM radio operators dabble with long distant overseas communications, morse code, and digital communications.

Our mission is promoting HAM radio communications as auxiliary communications when cell phones or other standard communications are not feasible.  We support community, civic, and law enforcement programs throughout the Greater Cerritos area & neighboring cities.
